On May 17, 2022, at our Faculty, we hosted colleagues from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. At the meeting, the research and development and didactic offer of both units was presented and possible further topics for cooperation, which has been going on for many years, were discussed. The presented proposals met with keen interest on both sides and will surely result in joint ventures for which we are already waiting and cheering.
\nOn the part of VGTU we were visited by Dr. Rimvydas Stonys, Director of the Building Materials Institute, Dr. Valentin Antonovi\u010d, Head of the Composite Materials Laboratory, Dr. Jurgita Malai\u0161kien\u0117 and Dr. Renata Borys.
\nOn the part of the Faculty, the meeting was attended by: Rector dr hab. Eng. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, prof. PB, prof. dr hab. in\u017c. Micha\u0142 Bo\u0142tryk, Dean of WBiN\u015a, dr in\u017c. Ma\u0142gorzata Lra\u0142, Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and Education, dr hab. Eng. Jolanta Prusiel, prof. PB-Head of the Department of Building Structures, prof. dr hab. Eng. W\u0142adys\u0142aw Gardziejczyk, Director of the Institute of Civil Engineering, dr in\u017c. Katarzyna Kalinowska-Wichrowska, Vice-Dean for Development and Cooperation.
\nIn addition to discussions and exchange of experiences, faculty laboratories were presented, including: Hall, Road Laboratory, Faculty Chemical Laboratory, Laboratory of Renewable Energy Sources and Laboratories at the Department of Chemistry, Biology and Biotechnology.
\nThe culmination of the visit was a visit to the BUT Museum, where Mrs. Agnieszka Halicka, together with its Director, Dr. Eng. arch. Maciej K\u0142opotowski presented the beautiful history and tradition of our Alma Mater.<\/p>\n
