Course description
This undergraduate program provides students with basic knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology at the university level, as well as specific topics within the field of civil engineering. General educational objectives at the undergraduate level are:
The scientific and engineering courses are complemented by social sciences and humanities subjects to broaden the study perspectives as well as prepare students for professional interaction with people.
Alumni of BSc in Civil Engineering program will be prepared to:
They will also have thorough knowledge of building technology, organization and management as well as building development using modern technologies and computing techniques in civil engineering practice.
As a graduate of this field of study, you will be well prepared to design and erect various types of building constructions such as houses, blocks of flats, public utility buildings; to work in design offices, research and development centres, construction supervision, building materials industry as well as set up and run building firms.
According to national (Polish) regulations, graduates with BSc in Civil Engineering title can apply for construction license in the field of managing construction works and to design in the specialty of construction and building, road engineering, bridge engineering, as well as hydrotechnical engineering. They also acquire the right to perform energy performance certificates for buildings.

Course description
This graduate program is addressed to graduates with BSc in Engineering, primarily for alumni of BSc in Environmental Engineering program or similar (civil, mechanical, chemical engineering etc. after complementing curriculum disparities, which should be not higher than 30 ECTS credits). The students are provided with in-depth knowledge of mathematics, environmental physics and chemistry. They familiarize with techniques of environmental data analysis and mathematical modelling and develop practical skills in designing and governing environment protection activities. Broad knowledge and the system approach skills are acquired, including environmental law and economy, impact analysis, risk analysis and decision making, mathematical modelling, environment quality assessment and management, etc.
The program aims at research and engineering activities concerning the sustainable development and preventing negative impacts of human activity on the environment. Graduates will be able to develop their individual professional practices, carry out environmental impact assessment, design and execute or supervise environment protection measures in companies and provide expertise to local and regional authorities for decision making.
MSc program in Environmental Engineering offers 2 specializations:
According to national (Polish) regulations, graduates with MSc in Environmental Engineering title can apply for unrestricted construction license in the field of sanitary installations, authorizing them to design objects such as heating systems, gas, ventilation, water and sewer installations etc., as well as manage construction works in this field. They are also able to apply for restricted (limited) construction license in the field of civil engineering and construction.
