Services and research offer:

  • Advisory and research services in the field of supervision of private forests assigned to forest inspectorates.
  • Studies in national parks, landscape parks, forest inspectorates, Natura 2000 areas in Podlaskie Voivodeship concerning development of tourist infrastructure, tourist traffic, importance and assessment of areas in terms of health and usefulness of tourist infrastructure for visitors, profitability of investing in development of tourist infrastructure.
  • Working out the history of forest service, history of localities, individual forests and other objects in forest areas since the oldest times, archival queries, working out tourist offers on the basis of natural and cultural resources for local governments and entrepreneurs.
  • Cultivation of mushrooms with medicinal/commercial potential.
  • Forest analyzes (dendrochronological analysis, forest condition monitoring, forest taxation).
  • Performing chemical composition analyses using gas chromatograph coupled with mass spectrometer (GC-MS).
  • Microscopic imaging of biological preparations using light and scanning microscopy with the use of microscopes: with Nemarski phase contrast, fluorescence, stereological, scanning with magnification up to 45000 X.
  • Morphological and morphometric measurements of biological systems using KAO computer image analysis.
  • Investigations of water binding force in various systems: food, biological and mineral preparations.
  • Analysis of rheological properties of fluids including rheologically unstable fluids, suspensions, colloidal systems.
  • Studies on the possibility of substance separation by supercritical extraction with CO2.
  • Non-standard research on physical and chemical properties of bee products.
  • Use of fungal extracts to neutralize bacteria, fungi and viruses.
  • Analysis and visualization of data using R language.
  • Solution of standard forestry problems in areas such as silviculture, seed and nursery.
  • Scientific and practical recommendations for establishing blueberry (Vaccinium angostifolium) plantations.
