Services and research offer

Technical, chemical, ecological judgments and environmental opinions in the field of:

  • wastewater treatment technology using hydrophytic deposits for industrial wastewater treatment with particular emphasis on wastewater from food processing;
  • sludge management on wastewater treatment plants with the use of vermicompost, including the transformation of carbon compounds and selected micropollutants;
  • Water treatment technologies using membrane methods in terms of their applicability for removal of micropollutants from surface and underground waters
  • processes of deepened oxidation, taking into account the efficiency of removal of selected organic pollutants from industrial wastewater and leachates from landfills, as well as the evaluation of post-process residues
  • Mechanisms of transformation, immobilization and degradation of selected pesticides in wastewater treatment technology and aquatic and groundwater environment;
  • wastewater treatment technologies for municipal and industrial wastewater in SBR reactors including transformations of carbon compounds expressed as COD fractions and selected micropollutants;
  • further use of waste materials in waste management systems and assessment of potential environmental risks in terms of heavy metals and organic micropollutants;
  • air protection, including determination of the impact of stationary emission sources on the ambient air quality in settlement units on the basis of field studies and solid fuel combustion technologies
  • filtration process applied to water treatment for household and industrial purposes with the use of innovative filtration materials and water magnetisation process;
  • monitoring the amounts of heavy metals in agricultural crops and agricultural soils of non-urbanised areas
  • Determination of the degree of anthropopression in rural areas and landscape of lowland rivers;
  • determination of the degree of urban dustiness and communication routes as elements of human impact on the quality of the urban environment;
  • monitoring of surface water quality as regards the influence of anthropopressure factors;
  • monitoring of surface waters and groundwaters taking into account physical and chemical parameters, including among others microplastics and selected micropollutants
  • systems of municipal and industrial waste management, methods of utilization and recycling of waste materials, taking into consideration development of waste management plans
  • Wastewater treatment technologies using aerobic granulated activated sludge and methods of aerobic granulated sludge production in SBR reactors;
  • low-cost methods of nitrogen removal from treated wastewater;
